Comments: Once again...a dynamic experience. Maria's love of literature and music compliment her ability to teach Portuguese language. When you study Portuguese with Maria you get two lessons in one: Portuguese language and Brazilian culture. Given that language and culture are connected...her teaching method is both enjoyable and effective.

Comments: Maria can adapt the language lessons to meet whatever needs you might have. I have recently been struggling with pronunciation. Through the creative use of articles and media, she developed a system that has increased my ability to properly produce the sounds of the portuguese language. I'm very pleased to have her as my instructor!

Comments: Great class! I used to be afraid to make mistakes in portuguese. Maria has completely taken away that fear and has helped me understand that my mistakes, if corrected and explained, are an important part of the learning process and compliment my portuguese (in the long run). Bravo!
